International Federation for Home Economics GLOBAL RECOGNITION OF HOME ECONOMICS The International Federation for Home Economics (IFHE), is an International Non-Governmental Organisation (INGO), having consultative status with the United Nations (ECOSOC, FAO, UNESCO, UNICEF) and with the Council of Europe. Based on its relation to the UN and global partners, IFHE with its Home Economics experts is in a position to promote global recognition of Home Economics in UN Committees, (Family, Ageing, Food Security, Children, Women etc.) to present Home Economics knowledge and aspects in relevant oral or online discussions at the United Nations, (ECOSOC, FAO, UNESCO), to present oral or written statements, to participate at UN Conferences and Meetings, to cooperate with global partners as well as in the diverse committees of the networks of International Non-Governmental Organisations.
